photos of our trip


i've been promising photos for months.
sorry. it was a bit overwhelming to think of how to share a good overview of the holiday - we saw so much and had so many lovely experiences - and i'm sad to say that it fell by the wayside.

i realized not long ago that i didn't finish sharing photos of the holiday, so i decided to make this, something that you can scroll through in your own time (and i can have printed out into a memory book!) i wish i would have done this for past holidays!

we hope that you enjoy our little look back at a lovely holiday.


2. roma



a quick overview of what we saw on our first day in rome:
*trevi fountain
*piazza del popolo
*villa borghese (we got to drive through this amazing piece of property everyday!)
*trajan's forum & column
*national monument of victor emmanuel
*roman forum
*arch of titus
*ancient ruins
*colosseum
... a million things in between!




that night, exhausted, we walked around the neighborhood that our hotel was in and found a quaint little pizza place. we ate our first real italian pizza (yum) sitting in a little table on a beautiful patio with a few italian families and a group of bodyguards (who was staying at our hotel!?). it was perfect.
